Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company announces open auditions for its 2007-2008 season.

Tuesday September 4th 7-10pm
Wednesday September 5th 7-10pm

At the Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre
542 Penn Ave. in Pittsburgh’s Downtown Cultural District

This season includes:

James McBride by Mark Clayton Southers, directed by Andrew Paul
The 5th Annual Theatre Festival in Black and White
Bridge Club by Matt M. Smith, directed by John E. Lane, Jr.
Two Trains Running by August Wilson, directed by Mark Clayton Southers
and a new play from our March reading series scheduled for May 2008, directed by Jeffrey Simpson

If you're interested in auditioning, please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues no longer than two minutes each, although you may only be asked to perform one.

Bring a headshot and resume.

All types are encouraged to audition. We're always looking to meet new people, and will also need a lot of actors for this season's March Madness reading series and our monthly Mondays on Stage workshops.
